Prune is one of the most relaxing and unique games I’ve played on iOS. The whole concept of growing and shaping trees while avoiding obstacles feels incredibly original, and the minimalist art style and music make it very calming to play. The difficulty was also just right — challenging enough to stay interesting without ever becoming frustrating.
What I loved most was how satisfying it felt to carefully guide each tree toward the sunlight. Every level felt like a small puzzle, but in a very peaceful way rather than a stressful one.
My only small issue was the touch controls occasionally forcing me to cover parts of the screen with my finger while making cuts, which sometimes made it harder to see exactly what was happening. I’m not sure there’s an easy fix for that on a touchscreen device, but it was noticeable at times.
Overall, Prune is a beautiful, creative, and relaxing experience that I’d easily recommend to anyone looking for a calm puzzle game with a truly unique idea.
